What is IBPS?

IBPS is an association which provides assistance for bank in the areas of recruitment, placement by designing and developing suitable measurement tools and tests.

IBPS exams:

Traditionally they conduct 4 times exams for following posts annually.

- IBPS PO
- IBPS Clerical
- IBPS Specialist officer
- IBPS RRB

IBPS PO:

IBPS PO is an exam which recruits potential young candidates for the post of assistant general manager(in this case PO officer). It is an three tier exam which involves two computer based exams and a interview skill test. It is a post which have potential future benefits sacked infront of you.

Tier I-Preliminary exam:

It is an computer based exam for 100 marks with each sections carrying 25 marks. It includes sectional cut off and negative marks.Sections include general awareness, quantitative aptitude, general reasoning nad general English. Duration for this exam is 1 hour (60 minutes). Here speed and accuracy matters most rather than attempting all the questions. Try only the questions that you are comfortable and confident. This is just for only filtering the candidates who are potential to handle the job. This mark will not be added to the marks of mains exam

Tier-II-Mains exam:

This is also an computer based exam which requires more accuracy and speed. This is a battle between the best. Because this time around you will be battling with 200 questions for 2 hours with 50 questions for each sections. with negative marking of 0.5 marks and you must clear all the sections.This mark will counted for the your final score.

Tier-III - Interview process:

Tier-III is an interview process. You have to promote yourself as the candidate they searching for. As  you will be representing that bank. You will be the face for your respective bank you are going to join.
